Colle San Paolo in Umbria
Colle San Paolo is an agricultural estate or "agriturisimo" immersed in the verdant and hilly Umbrian countryside, near Lake Trasimeno, half-way between Florence (to the north) and Rome (to the South), near many characteristic hamlets and important art cities, both in Umbria and in Tuscany.
This family-run organic estate is made up of 130 hectares of pristine landscape on the green hills surrounding Lake Trasimeno: streams, oak woods (80 hectares), centuries-old olive groves and cultivated fields. There are about 2.000 olive trees, 250 of which are more than 150 years old and are used to produce extra-virgin organic olive oil.
In an enchanted landscape of the beautiful old olive trees, oak woods, cultivated fields, rolling hills and valleys they have recently restored three farmhouses, that were originally built in the 17th century. Their names are "Fontanelle", "Molinella" and "Poderaccio".
The restoration works have been carried out with great care and attention for the typical characteristics of each farmhouse, using as much as possible material recovered from the original constructions. There are a total of 9 comfortable and high-quality holiday apartments, 2 cottages and one elegant villa.
You can relax with a glass of wine by the pool or enjoy several other activities in the area:
Wine tasting and visiting wine cellars
Truffle hunting
Swimming, canoeing and sailing on Lake Trasimeno
Golf in Panicale and in Perugia
Donkey walks in the woods near Panicale or horse-back riding and trekking
Artistic workshops for children and adults at the Museum of Glass in Piegaro
Visit to the Perugina Museum of Chocolate (near Perugia) and to the Paleontological Museum of Pietrafitta

Amusement park “La Città della Domenica” near Perugia
In addition, to the above, Colle San Paolo is the Umbria location for Arte al Sole, an art and cultural day camp for international children in English, for two weeks every summer. This makes it a perfect choice when traveling with children.
As you can see, Colle San Paolo is a must-see during your vacation in Italy!
